You know your child. We're here to listen.
If feeding feels harder than it should, that’s reason enough to come in. Our team of nine clinicians takes the time to hear your whole story, looks at the whole body, and builds one plan that fits your family. Judgment-free, evidence-based, and never rushed.

OUR STORY
Abeille
("Honey bee" in French)
Kayla Richardson and Nicole Edwin founded Abeille in 2019 after experiencing their own struggles with feeding their newborn children, which led them to discover just how little skilled support existed for common feeding challenges. They built Abeille around the care they wished they’d had: unhurried, collaborative, and rooted in evidence.
“According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to lift its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway—because bees don’t care what humans think is impossible.” – The Bee Movie
Our Services
Everything feeding touches, in one clinic.

Lactation Support
Feeding your baby shouldn’t feel confusing, painful, or isolating. At The Abeille Feeding Clinic, our lactation support services are designed to support both you and your baby—from the early days after birth through ongoing feeding transitions.

Bottle Feeding
Whether you bottle feed exclusively, combine breast and bottle, or are offering a bottle for the first time, we’ll help with refusal, slow or stressful feeds, and positioning. Expect a gentle, step-by-step plan and zero judgment.

Starting Solids
Around six months, first foods bring new questions. We assess your baby’s readiness, oral skills, and posture, then help with allergen worries and food refusal, whether you choose purees, baby-led weaning, or a mix.
Learn More
Diet & Nutrition
Our registered dietitian helps kids and adults with protein, weight gain, and meal planning, with a personalized plan for your family. If you're worried about excessive gagging or how your baby handles new textures when they start solids, then our Starting Solids team can help with that side of feeding.

Feeding Therapy
We help babies, toddlers, and kids who find eating or drinking hard, from gagging and swallowing trouble to picky eating and mealtime stress. Play-based, child-led sessions build skills and confidence that carry over at home.

Oral Ties
Tongue, lip, and buccal ties can affect feeding, breathing, and speech at any age. We assess how the mouth actually functions and provide therapy and bodywork before and after a release by your dental or medical provider.
Learn More
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy
Targeted exercises and breathing strategies retrain how the tongue, lips, and jaw work together, easing mouth breathing, jaw tension, and feeding or speech concerns.
Learn More
Physical Therapy & Reflex Integration
Pediatric physical therapy helps with torticollis, flat spots, and delayed milestones, while reflex integration uses gentle movement to support feeding, posture, and regulation.
Learn More
Bodywork
Gentle soft tissue and fascia work, with no joint manipulation, eases tension that can get in the way of feeding, movement, and comfort. Book standalone sessions with our massage therapist or add it to your therapy visits.

Groups & Classes
Join a free weekly support group for weight checks, answers, and community, or get ready before birth with our prenatal feeding workshop. However you feed your baby, you’re welcome here.

What families are saying

our approach
Feeding is a full-body skill.
We look at how the mouth works, not just the latch
Your baby’s tongue, lips, jaw, and cheeks all get evaluated, because a shallow latch or bottle refusal often traces back to oral function.
We treat tension that shows up During Feeding
When body tension makes feeding harder, gentle craniosacral and myfascial bodywork can be included in your lactation or feeding session.
Your clinicians talk to each other
Most of our providers hold two credentials, and the team consults on shared cases, so you get just one plan and avoid a chain of referrals.
