IBCLC (Student)
I earned my Bachelors of Science and Communication Disorders in 2018 and a Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology in 2020 from Missouri State University. After graduation, I worked in a pediatric speech and language clinic for nearly three years before joining the Abeille team. I am a certified SOS trained feeding therapist with a focus on successful transition to solid foods and addressing “picky eating”. In addition, I have also completed 20 hours of Bodywork for Babies (Vaughn Approach) to address body tension related to feeding and oral motor skills.
I am currently completing my Lactation and Infant Feeding Therapy Fellowship and working toward my International Board Certification.

Services
How Millie can help.
Lactation support
Feeding your baby shouldn’t feel confusing, painful, or isolating. At The Abeille Feeding Clinic, our lactation support services are designed to support both you and your baby—from the early days after birth through ongoing feeding transitions.
Bottle feeding
Whether you bottle feed exclusively, combine breast and bottle, or are offering a bottle for the first time, we’ll help with refusal, slow or stressful feeds, and positioning. Expect a gentle, step-by-step plan and zero judgment.
Starting solids
Around six months, first foods bring new questions. We assess your baby’s readiness, oral skills, and posture, then help with gagging, allergen worries, and food refusal, whether you choose purees, baby-led weaning, or a mix.
Feeding Therapy
We help babies, toddlers, and kids who find eating or drinking hard, from gagging and swallowing trouble to picky eating and mealtime stress. Play-based, child-led sessions build skills and confidence that carry over at home.
Oral Ties
Tongue, lip, and buccal ties can affect feeding, breathing, and speech at any age. We assess how the mouth actually functions and provide therapy and bodywork before and after a release by your dental or medical provider.
Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy
Targeted exercises and breathing strategies retrain how the tongue, lips, and jaw work together, easing mouth breathing, jaw tension, and feeding or speech concerns.
Groups & Classes
Join a free weekly support group for weight checks, answers, and community, or get ready before birth with our prenatal feeding workshop. However you feed your baby, you’re welcome here.
