Fort Leonard Wood Clinic Director
Morgan Scarborough
IBCLC
Hey there, I’m Morgan, and I am so glad you are here! I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, military spouse, mother of two, and clinic director of Abeille Feeding Clinic – The Fort. I became a Certified Lactation Counselor in 2017 after my experience at Fort Leonard Wood highlighted the lack of accessible lactation resources for military families. I became an IBCLC in 2020 after completing more than 1,000 hours of hands-on clinical experience alongside IBCLCs in hospital and private-practice settings.
I have worked with families in hospital, outpatient, international, and private-practice settings, including during her time in Germany. I continue to pursue advanced education in low milk supply, oral ties, bottle refusal, rhythmic movement, and maternal mental health. I am so passionate about bridging gaps in care and creating “third places” where families, particularly military families and isolated Mommas, can find connection, community, education, and support. Outside of work, I love reading, traveling, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with her family.

How Morgan can help.
Lactation support
Feeding your baby shouldn’t feel confusing, painful, or isolating. At The Abeille Feeding Clinic, our lactation support services are designed to support both you and your baby—from the early days after birth through ongoing feeding transitions.
Bottle feeding
Whether you bottle feed exclusively, combine breast and bottle, or are offering a bottle for the first time, we’ll help with refusal, slow or stressful feeds, and positioning. Expect a gentle, step-by-step plan and zero judgment.
Oral Ties
Tongue, lip, and buccal ties can affect feeding, breathing, and speech at any age. We assess how the mouth actually functions and provide therapy and bodywork before and after a release by your dental or medical provider.
