Bottle Feeding

Bottle feeding should feel calm for you and your baby. We help with bottle refusal, paced feeding, choosing the right bottle, and balancing breastfeeding and bottle feeding, so feeding feels easier at home.

Our approach

Bottle Feeding is a Whole-Body Skill.

If feeding feels stressful, confusing, or overwhelming, you’re not doing anything wrong. Your baby may just still be developing bottle-feeding skills, and the right support can help.

Parents often reach out to us for help with:

  • Bottle refusal or inconsistent bottle acceptance
  • Introducing a bottle to a breastfed baby
  • Returning to work and needing bottle feeding to go smoothly
  • Exclusive bottle feeding by choice or necessity
  • Combination feeding (breast + bottle or breast milk + formula)
  • Gagging, coughing, leaking milk, or clicking sounds
  • Slow, stressful, or overly long feeds
  • Fussiness, arching, or discomfort during bottle feeds
  • Uncertainty around bottle types, nipples, flow rates, or positioning

How we help

Sound Familiar?

Every family’s path looks different. These are some of the reasons parents come to see us, and we’ll start by listening to yours.

My baby refuses to feed from a bottle.

Bottle refusal

Feeds take forever, or end in tears.

Long or stressful feeds

I don’t know which bottle to try next.

Choosing a bottle

My baby is gassy and fussy after every bottle.

Gas and fussiness

I’d like to use both breast and bottle.

Combining breast and bottle

Someone else will be feeding the baby soon.

Preparing for childcare

Support for all

Support for Every Feeding Journey.

Combination feeding and formula feeding are valid, common, and often necessary. We support families with:

Creating sustainable feeding routines

Navigating breast milk + formula combinations

Understanding hunger cues and volumes

Choosing formulas when needed

Gas, reflux symptoms, or feeding stress

Our role is not to push a specific feeding method—it’s to help you feel informed, supported, and confident in the choices that work for your family.

your first visit
