Hi, I’m Katie!
I’m a mom of two, a registered nurse, certified breastfeeding specialist, and an IBCLC student. My nursing background is in the ICU, but I found my true passion in supporting families through their infant feeding journey.
As a mom myself, I know firsthand that breastfeeding can be both beautiful and challenging. I moved to St. Louis with my husband in 2020 shortly after having our first daughter. I quickly realized how true it is that it takes a village to be a mom! I leaned so heavily on the women who led and participated in a local breastfeeding support group. Having someone there to offer support, encouragement, and a listening ear can make such a difference. That experience is a big part of why I’m so passionate about lactation. I want to be part of that village for other parents as they navigate feeding their little ones. My goal is to create a warm and judgment-free space where you feel heard, supported, and confident in your feeding journey.
When I’m not talking about breastfeeding, you can usually find me exploring St. Louis with my family. We love finding new playgrounds and coffee shops around the city. I also enjoy running, lifting weights, cooking, baking, taking care of my plants, and reading. I feel incredibly grateful to do work that allows me to support families during such an important season of life.

Services
How Katie can help.
Lactation support
Feeding your baby shouldn’t feel confusing, painful, or isolating. At The Abeille Feeding Clinic, our lactation support services are designed to support both you and your baby—from the early days after birth through ongoing feeding transitions.
Bottle feeding
Whether you bottle feed exclusively, combine breast and bottle, or are offering a bottle for the first time, we’ll help with refusal, slow or stressful feeds, and positioning. Expect a gentle, step-by-step plan and zero judgment.
Oral Ties
Tongue, lip, and buccal ties can affect feeding, breathing, and speech at any age. We assess how the mouth actually functions and provide therapy and bodywork before and after a release by your dental or medical provider.
