Gina Mydlo
DPT
IBCLC (student)
I’m Gina, and I received my doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2013, and became an International Board Certified Consultant in 2025. I have worked in a variety of pediatric settings including outpatient, school, and in home early intervention services which has given me a well-rounded style of treatment. I take a holistic approach to caring for the whole child and understand how infant feeding, sleep, and motor development are closely interconnected. I am trained in the Gillespie Approach for cranio-sacral fascial therapy and have taken 100s of hours of post-graduate education in areas of interest such as primitive reflex work, functional vision rehabilitation, polyvagal theory, infant sleep, babywearing, and more. I utilize a variety of bodywork methods and neurodevelopmental training in my treatment sessions to promote whole body wellness in my infant, child, and adult clients.
I’m also a wife and mother to my school aged son who was born prematurely and with certain health issues that led to developmental delays. For the first 3 years, my son needed a variety of therapies and treatments including lactation, physical, feeding, speech, occupational, and emotional counseling. Every single one of those professionals was critical to not only my son’s development, but to my development as a mother as well. Going through that experience has given me a deeper understanding of how the whole family and their environment needs to be considered in addition to treating the whole child. My passion is giving families the tools and education they need to be confident when raising their little ones.

Services
How Gina can help.
Lactation support
Feeding your baby shouldn’t feel confusing, painful, or isolating. At The Abeille Feeding Clinic, our lactation support services are designed to support both you and your baby—from the early days after birth through ongoing feeding transitions.
Bottle feeding
Whether you bottle feed exclusively, combine breast and bottle, or are offering a bottle for the first time, we’ll help with refusal, slow or stressful feeds, and positioning. Expect a gentle, step-by-step plan and zero judgment.
Oral Ties
Tongue, lip, and buccal ties can affect feeding, breathing, and speech at any age. We assess how the mouth actually functions and provide therapy and bodywork before and after a release by your dental or medical provider.
Physical Therapy & Reflex Integration
Pediatric physical therapy helps with torticollis, flat spots, and delayed milestones, while reflex integration uses gentle movement to support feeding, posture, and regulation.
Bodywork
Gentle soft tissue and fascia work, with no joint manipulation, eases tension that can get in the way of feeding, movement, and comfort. Book standalone sessions with our massage therapist or add it to your therapy visits.
Groups & Classes
Join a free weekly support group for weight checks, answers, and community, or get ready before birth with our prenatal feeding workshop. However you feed your baby, you’re welcome here.
