Hi, I’m Nicole, co-owner of The Abeille Feeding Clinic and an integrative oral functional therapist. I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), Myofunctional Therapist and CranioSacral Therapist. I have dedicated my adult life to the study of the relationship between the body and oral function; how the body influences feeding, breathing, and oral development, and how oral dysfunction can affect the entire body. What I love most is how unique my approach to care is. I incorporate gentle bodywork into my treatment of oral function, for the most efficient, gentle and healing approach to care I’ve found. I believe the best care happens collaboratively, which is why I work closely with chiropractors, dentists, orthodontists, functional medicine and medical providers to ensure that my patients receive the most comprehensive care they could ask for.

I work with patients across the lifespan, from newborns with complex breastfeeding challenges, to toddlers with enlarged tonsils and airway concerns, school -aged children with oral dysfunction and tooth crowding, and adults with head and neck pain, TMJ dysfunction and snoring. Even though my passion began with tongue tied infants, because of my own feeding challenges with my own babies, I have expanded over the years to include the whole family. Unfortunately, not everyone’s oral ties were caught as babies.

Beyond the clinic, many people know me for our large family and our involvement in our local parish. Yes, we take up an entire pew, and I love it! But we’re also known for our self-sufficiency lifestyle. While we are not fully self-sustaining, I’d say it’s what we’re striving for. Our 7 kids help care for the animals, collect honey and eggs and process meat. When I’m not in the clinic with patients or running a business from home, you’ll find me homeschooling my youngest kids, on the sidelines watching my older kids play basketball, baseball and softball, and cooking from scratch as much as I can. I look forward to walking alongside your family as we support healing and growth. Faith, family, and serving our community are at the heart of both my life and my work.
